Soccer Obsession
My obsession with soccer taught me a lot of real life lessons. For the past few years have played
soccer as hobby, however I never thought soccer as only the game but real competition. Like all other people I was not a genius, I learned through trial and error. Criticized and scolded a lot, however my respect towards to my team members and friends never changed. I gained more knowledge every time then I apply to my game play. In regards to the basic ethics of teamwork, soccer has taught me to be a better individual overall. I have been better able to work with others while displaying the leadership skills that I learned in soccer. I believe that I also have learned to be more trustworthy of others, because I learned to trust my teammates in the heat of battle. Some of the ethics required for a successful soccer teams are true also in life: determination, teamwork, confidence, and a "never say die" attitude. Football has awoken these qualities in me.
Can any of you guys review my essay and give me some advice please.
