Just finished it up i think it just needs a quick proof read

Why did you choose to apply to UCF?

The University of Central Florida achieves the characteristics of an ideal learning institution. I have lived in Florida my entire life and have been determined to find the best university here since I began preparing for my transition into college. Luckily I was introduced to this excellent school by my high school counselor. In account of my continuing pursuit of knowledge, I decided to apply to UCF because I want to be taught by what I believe to be the best staff in all central Florida. UCF's programs provide students with the tools needed to succeed and understand the applications of the skills taught to them in the real world. It is this kind of education that i have been seeking. I am more than certain that acceptance into this prestigious University will mold the path to my success and open many doors throughout my life in the career of my choosing.

How has your family history, culture or environment influenced who you are?

Approximately eleven years ago my father passed away, this left my mother as the sole provider for my entire family consisting of me and my three siblings. My mother is a very determined and hard working person but the one life-altering factor that gave my mother the means to support our family was her education. Before my father passed away she decided to pursue a degree and studied to become a lawyer. Without a career such as the one she has now she would not have been finacially prepared to sustain a family of five. It is through this that I learned the value of the rigorous work put into achieving a proper education and it is what drives me to make choices such as deciding to take harder courses in the pursuit of knowledge despite the fact that they could lower my GPA. These are the events that have shaped the hard working and persistent person that I consider myself to be today.
