If someone asks, "which college do you want to go?", I will answer without hesitation, "Notre Dame!!". As a devout Catholic, I have always chosen Notre Dame as my number one dream school ever since I came to the United States. First, I chose Notre Dame because of its excellent academics as well as its great passion in Catholic spirit. As a senior in high school, I have heard wonderful things about Notre Dame's education and atmosphere from current students and alumni. Also, as a student who wants to major in science, I am more than interested in studying at the digital visualization theater in the Jordan Hall of Science. Another factor that made Notre Dame very attractive to me was its beautiful campus. As soon as I saw the Gold Dome I know that in this environment I would feel encouraged to work hard and to the best of my abilities.

right now you are just praising the school, which is one of the intentions you should have when writing this. you say you want to go because of the "excellent academics" and "passion in Catholic spirit". Focus on these two factors and expand more on them. What are some programs you like that are related to these two factors? When colleges ask the "why" question, they want to see that you know the school and aren't just applying there cause people are making you or you just feel like it.
