One of the main reasons I wish to attend Virginia Tech is that with The Pamplin College of Business I can earn a degree in Marketing from one of the nation's 50 best business schools. Also the 16:1 student-faculty ratio is something that will make academic life better for me, as there will be enough staff attention in the classroom and less student distraction. I currently go to a small high school so I know the good that can come from being able to have one on one time with a teacher. Another reason is the location of Virginia Tech, Blacksburg has been consistently ranked among the country's best places to live and is known for its award winning services, a reasonable cost of living, safety, moderate climate, and abundant leisure activities. The diversity of Virginia Tech is another reason I would like to attend the University. The community is one that makes it clear they welcome diversity and hope to develop and sustain one. This to me is a great thing because a diverse community is excellent for a learning environment. When Virginia Tech comes to mind I automatically think about the many times I've been driving with my dad in Virginia and have seen almost every car pass by with a Virginia Tech logo on it. The Hokie spirit astonishes me and gives me a sense of confirmation in knowing that Virginia Tech will be like a huge family I would be honored to be a part of.

This is nicely written.
I think maybe adding some of your career goals and explaining how important education is to you may make it sound like you are more passionate about reaching your goals, and getting a higher education.

Maybe you can reword this "When Virginia Tech comes to mind I automatically think about the many times I've been driving with my dad in Virginia and have seen almost every car pass by with a Virginia Tech logo on it. "
