Tell us about the most significant challenge you've faced or something important that didn't go according to plan. How did you manage the situation?(*) (200-250 words)

Tell me what you think. (:

Everytime I saw the Sun I'd never imagine a storm would come. I woke up to see the Sun and find out that the science fair I had won.Now came the national, this wasnt the exception, I never imagined a storm would come.

I was confident, all we had to was to present the same petri dishes we had used, use the same presentation and maybe even the same brochures. Some weeks went by when we found out that all went wrong, our cultures had died and all was lost. My friends wanted to quit, but I said: No!

The colonies had perished and didnt last;we researched for other culture mediums and chose Petrifilm, which was easy to use and lasted longer. But what we didnt know was that it was so expensive. We couldnt afford it. All I could see now was the storm.

At last we asked for permission and a Bake Sale organized. We had the funds and so we bought it.We won the fair. It was a success, but I think the best was to learn that even though a storm came by we could always expect to see a rainbow and get back our Sun.

Wow. A very impressive essay. Written metaphorically, I don't know if that really fits your essay, but it's unique.
Overall, great and uniquely written.
