In my opinion you should mention what makes you a deserving candidate to be selected in illinois institute,moreover,mention what experience do you have regarding fashion. any work you have done. What are your skills, why have you selected this institute. where do you see yourself after 5 years if you get an opportunity to study here.
Other specific things which needs to be mentioned must be listed in the institutes' prospectus

So... what do you think is the most important thing you can do with your life? And what has that got to do with fashion? You need to explain something awesome to the reader. It does not have to be eloquent or perfect... but write some sentences that tell the reader what is important to you, what you will accomplish during your time at this school, and so forth. Cite an article or book about fashion... show them how serious you are!

My name is Fatoumata Diallo. I am 16 years old. I am a senior at Sullivan HS. I will graduete in Next January. I am so excited to finish because i am thinking about my next step. My next step will be me all about my passion. I live for my passion. To be a fashion designer is my goal.
Since i was young ,by the age of 6years old i used to sew my barbie s clothing. I can draw more than 10 difference dresses in less than 7 minutes. I have a big book where i saved my drawings since 2005.I am very expired by designing cloths. Last spring , i took one month sewing class with a woman who volunteered to help teenagers . she was so surprised and proud of me by the was i saw for the first time in a electronic sewing machine. I won two books with her " THE BOOK OF HOME SEWING" and " THE SINGER CREATIVE SEWING IDEAS".I am pretty good because i am very determined , but i think that i need more help to be EXTRA good and to be the future of the next generation, thats the reason why i chose THE ILLINOIS INSTITUTE OF ART because the jobs that The Illinois Institute Of Art have done and the help that the school has provided for the students. I really want to be part of it .I am doing my service learning hours at the " I AM YOU " right now, i volunteered in sewing , realizing my own drawing.
