I may not be the best however, everyone has always mentioned how I am a highly persistent and hardworking individual, I agree. I strive to give my best everywhere I go, and in everything I do. Proudly possessing this quality has helped me overcome many challenges throughout the years.
Indeed there is never an age too late to engage in a sport nonetheless, I was at a disadvantage when I joined the school volleyball team in Grade 10. The lineup already consisted of club players and with that being said, it put my position on the bench. I took this on as a challenge to work even harder and earn a starter spot on the court. I went to every practice on time prepared and focused, determined to be worthy of a starter position within the next two years. Gratified, my hard work and perseverance paid off and it was truly worthwhile. Not only was I able to achieve a position in my school's starting lineup, but I was also selected to be a part of three club teams, one of them being the top premier youth volleyball teams within Western Canada. I am proud to say that I will soon be a part of the ------A team.

One essay at one time please
Hey guys! I know it's super last minute but I really would love opinions on these UBC applications. For the second paragraph, I wish to put more in-depth (and yes it has happened to me that is why no matter how cliche family is, it really does hit my heart to the core) but I only have so many words. :(
Thank you in advance for the criticism and help!
