How do you plan to get the most out of your undergraduate education at Victoria College?
Going to college is a coveted dream for me. College life that either I heard from my sister or I watched from TV shows is way colorful, and I have a plenty of things that I plan to do. First of all, I should attend class in college. Unlike in high school, there would be no one to wake me up every morning, I need to do this conscientiously. Even though it is possible to pass exams by self studying, attening class will enable me to learn more. In my view, college is not only a place to master knowledge, but also is a great place to network with instructors and other students. I would sign up for a club or two and be involved in student union. I am able to meet great students and instructors there, who can point me in the right direction. Moreover, gaining working experience plays a crucial part in the college life. I plan to apply for work-study position throughout the school time so I can make extra money as well as get sufficient time for studying. I am also willing to volunteer for community organization, which gives me a chance to learn about career prospect and provides me network connections that can be useful in the future. As a mentor can provide useful suggestions for both studying and future career, I will choose a mentor who has extensive knowledge in economics and work hard to show him or her my intelegence.
