In a society that changes as often as the latest celebutante's hair style, it can seem that there's not a college that is as dynamic. However my experience after the advice from a friend has proved that there is a college as dynamic as the world. My friend challenged me to visit the college website as well to go through any literature about the college. This was after a protracted debate on various colleges and how each one can be a pillar to attaining my career goals of pursuing a career in law and governance.

For the next few weeks, I became engrossed in the research on Franklin and Marshall College to see what it has to offer and this led to the discovery that it has vibrant student life and I would have a chance to experience a blend of academic and social interactions which will result in lifelong friendships. This would give me the outlook of a truly global citizen from the cultural exchanges with other students from other cultures. In addition to the vibrant student life Franklin and Marshall is located in a small vibrant city boasting a lively cultural and myriad of opportunities for students.

At Franklin and Marshall students are prepared to take responsibilities for their communities, their government and our global society. The learning approach is participatory thus students acquire the appropriate skills and know how. The college also has various volunteer and leadership programs which are necessary ingredients for me to be an effective leader. The overall impact of this kind of learning is that I am encouraged to apply as I intended to pursue a career in law and government.

The pre-law studies offered is an undoubted foundation for the study of law because students are equipped with skills needed to be successful at law school as well the legal profession. Students are taught to have analytical thinking skills, issue discernment, written and oral and reasoning. Attributes such as these were a major attraction to the college and the reason behind my decision to apply as I intend to pursue a career in law.

Staying put is not an option in today's world and I have to select a college that would impact the appropriate knowledge for me to successfully explore the dynamic world. Franklin and Marshall offer the programs that broaden and develop an international perspective preparing students for a life in the increasingly unbordered community. This left me with no option but to apply as the characteristics are a perfect match for my goals

The advice my friend gave was very central to the development of interest in Franklin and Marshall. It also resulted in the decision to apply as I discovered that the college is a prefect match in relation to my goals and ambitions. The way the programs are organized and offered would enable me to successfully pursue a career in law and government.

brilliant attempt!!

but do a few corrections:

1)Franklin and Marshall offersthe programs that broaden and develop ..

2)This left me with no option
please change this phrase- it sounds as if you're being forced into doing something you dont want to even though you've clearly mentioned why-

3)The advice my friend gave me ...

4)The way the programs are organized and offered would enable me to successfully pursue a career in law and government.
please change this last line because one you've already mentioned the programs e.g. law- and that this last lines resulting in a bad last impression--instead show an enthusiastic last line which clearly screams I WANT TO COME TO FRANKLIN MARSHALL--- something like 9or maybe do this):

The advice my friend gave me was very central to the development of my interest in Franklin and Marshall. Perhaps what was more important was the college's website- I discovered that Franklin and Marshall was a prefect match for me in relation to my goals and ambitions. I therefore, look forward to becoming a part of this great institution.
