your career in the future

My career goal is to become a Customs Officer. I have set myself a timeline of 8 years after graduation. During the first 2 years, I plan to gain experience and learn many different aspects of the industry. In the next 3 years, I will set clear goals and map out my future path based on the knowledge and experience accumulated to become a customs officer. In the final 3 years, I will continue to make efforts to achieve my work goals and develop my work well to advance to other positions.

This is an acceptable overview of your proposed career path. The problem, is that you have not taken the actual career experiences into consideration. What is the actual end game for you? Saying that you want to become a customs officer is good, but there are different levels of custom officers per field of specialization. So you first have to define what field of customs inspection you want to identify with. Then, explain how that experience will help you gain footing towards the next step. That way you show that you understand the type of career path that you have set out for yourself to complete within 8 years. Just add more information to the current draft and your essay should be fine.

I think it would be better if you could elaborate what kind of aspects that you want to learn during the first two years after graduation, and you also can add why those aspects are important to learn in order to support your goal.
