Beyond rankings, location, and athletics, why are you interested in attending Georgia Tech? (max 150 words)
From tracking Heme by a 'Green Lantern' sensor to studying properties of atoms at absolute zero, Georgia Tech's vision in using research to advance the field of chemistry is phenomenal. As a student who seeks to pursue a career and advance research in analytical chemistry, Tech's academically challenged environment and the resources will instill the necessary skills. With programs like "FACES" and "PURA" providing me with a platform to participate in research, College of Science's resources like the "Campus Mass Spectrometry Facility" will not only ease access to faster research, but allow my skills to improve and eliminate hurdles that face the structure of analytical chemistry such as protein design and biosynthesis. Furthermore, GT's core values and it's environment that advances the motto "Progress and Service" will open my doors to offer something to the community. With my experiences in P.A.T.H club, I can instill awareness about trafficking, a problem that is growing notoriously in Atlanta.
