"She takes hours picking out clothes and then as we're standing in line, ready to buy, she decides she doesn't want half of the stuff in her bag" complains my irritated mother to her friend on the phone, trying to explain why we're running late to a planned rendezvous. My indecisiveness has plagued me all my life. My blood pressure rises a little as waiters ask me for my order. Picking out an outfit for an important occasion takes hours of deep contemplation. My favorite color changes every time I meet a new person. So you can imagine my fright at the question "What do you want to do for the rest of your life?" Although I have yet to develop a solid answer to this question, I believe I have found University of Michigan's College of the Literature, Science, and the Arts to be the school for me. With it's vast curriculum, LSA provides me with the opportunity to explore fields until I can find my calling. Additional to the college's bearing of abundant resources, LSA also retains the characteristics of Michigan which captivate me such as the ability to translate ambition and hard work into successful results.

OK LISTEN! This particular writing occurred over a span of like less than 30 minutes. I just need opinions on whether the GIST of what I'm writing is interesting enough to become the essay that I do send. To expand or not to expand, that is the question. Like on a scale of 1-10 how attractive is this idea? Could it stand out? Is it wise to even be proud of being undecided like this? Should I be ashamed? Totally understand if you think this is complete and utter garbage. Totally open to scrapping this and forgetting I ever wrote it.
