Should people take more responsibility for solving problems that affect their communities or the nation in general?

"Blame the government" is the common saying of those living in a poor condition on todays standards. People nowadays think that the main denominator in a fraction having economic recession as a numerator is the government. But really, is the government working for your sake or are they working for themselves? In some cases the government work thinking for their own sake but not others, but that is in some cases.

Modern society believes that an authority such as the government is the perfect cure for all the problems tormenting us. That's not right, as many of us know nothing in this world is perfect, even the government. It's true that the government can stop thieves, murderers, and even terrorist, but some issues can't be stopped alone, which is why that the maintenance of a healthy country consist with the bonding of both the people and the government representing such people.

Even if the government cant come with the solution of our troubles, it does not mean the government can apply those solutions without its own people help. You can't expect the government to lower the crime rate if you are a drug dealer and less if you want the recession to end if you helped not the fitted candidate for office, but the one that can please all your selfish needs. Which is why people need to stop being so dependable of the government and become as self-reliant as the nomads used to be.

"Every men or women is responsible of his or her actions", meaning it's time to step up and dont expect the government to do everything for us, after all society is not defined by not just the government, it's all the people living in a country, which includes every single living citizen and the government.

I get really stressed when I have a time limit, could you rate this practice essay I made?

hi! i think this is really good. Im not trying to brag or anything but i got an 11/12 on the essay and HONESTLY if i can do it you can to. just make sure you have a good structure. they really like to see your basic 5 paragraph essay. make SURE you briefly mention everything you are going to be talking about in your intro para. and then have your 3 idea para and if you can do a small conclusion, it only has to be a sentence or two.

oh don't be afraid to make something random up also if u cant think of anything. in my essay i wrote about my brother...(i don't even have a brother hahah) (:

Well, first, I consider that you'd better add some examples into your essay, since it is important to write a SAT essay. Also, I think you had better practice more, so you can organize your essay easily in such a short time. The length of your essay shows your ability of writing in a limited time too.

Hope my advice could help! :)
