Amount of people that have passed the driving tests has been growing significantly worldwide for the last several decades. This includes the Asian region. Moreover, it may be stated that in some countries, including one Asian country, women have passed more driving tests than men. This essay's premise is to define whether it is correct or false.
The chart provided with the essay shows the number of men and women who passed their driving tests between 1980 and 2010. If we look at the left, we can see that the number of women passing a driving test has been growing rapidly in the XX century. For example, in 1980 around 48% of women passed their test, while in 1990 this number grew to 51%. The highest statistical number can be observed in the year 2000, with 68% of driving tests passed by women. However, in 2010 this amount decreased slightly, to 64%.
On the other hand, the results represented by the right side of the chart demonstrate that the general amount of men that passed the test between 1980 and 2010 is significantly smaller.
