'homeless or in jail'; Parents are the best teachers; I agree with the statement

please rate and score my essay for the TOEFL iBT independent writing

i agree with the following statement that parents are the best teachers .

When i was young my father always come to me when I'm watching the tv and he always had something to say but only now when I'm a man i understand that he use to say me don't be closer to the tv you will see after how ur views will decrease and now I'm remember him and by this such things i have done i regret it .

i think that if without my parents now i will be homeless or in jail but by their support and careless now i have a job a wife a child and even a dog feel happy .

i have don a lot of mistakes in my life but always my parents come across this and trying to help me and make me aware of what i did

and always trying to find me solution and make me feel positive and to never give up in this life no matter what is u always learn from this life and never repeat it .

in the other hand life without parents is little bit more hard than have parents cause i think u always have to depend about ur self no one encourage u always have to make a choice alone sometimes a good one sometimes a bad one without awareness of nobody.

as in your other essay (College or not) I miss the clear structure you need for the TOEFL iBT. You don't adress the question properly and you have a poor reasoning. It's to vague and your language skill isn't appropriated. I think you would probably score a 0 or 1.

I will try to make an essay about the same topic as comparison for you.

You should utilize the grammar and spell check features of Microsoft Word to correct as many spelling and grammar problems as possible before submitting your essays. You will find this under the Tools menu of Microsoft Word. If something in your document is underlined in red or green, be sure to check the spelling and grammar suggestions prior to submission. Also proofread your essay yourself to locate correctly spelled but misused words.


Follow this approach for your intro given by Dumi (our moderator);

Obviously, you write small letter "i" not just once but several times. Practice writing it in capital. Otherwise, you'll do the same mistake over and over again without notification.


This sentence has really a lot of grammatical issues.
Without my parents, I think I would be homeless or in jail, but now by their unwavering support, I have a happy life with a wife, son/daughter, and even a dog that keep inspiring me.
