'The Ibom shopping street' - A sence at a shopping street

The Ibom shopping street is as busy as a bee, during Christmas. Cleaners are busy doing their best to keep the fifty shops on this street clean.

The fifty shops are arranged in a circular pattern, with three central entrance and exit.
The street is crowded with people leaving and entering the shops. There is a huge traffic at the central exit and entrance because of the numbers of pedestrian, cars and taxi on the street impeding movement. Traffic wardens are called to help control the traffic in other to ease movement in and out of the shops.

The shops are decorated with assorted types of Christmas accessories including; bells, trees, stickers, posters, bill board, to mention a few. The cacophony from the atmosphere is annoying and alarming. Bells are jingling, babies crying, children screaming and shouting, people chatting, cars and taxi horning like brass instruments, robots presenting welcome speech to customers.

The street is adorned with various species of beautifully coloured and sweats smelling flowers including; rose, lotus, lily, violet, morning glory. Orchid...to mention a few. These flowers are arranged to form a colour wheel of various sizes and shapes. The aroma from the atmosphere is better than the best perfume.

Inside the shop is like inside heaven. The reflection, refraction and diffraction of light rays on the silver coloured glass walls and shelves combines to create an image of a golden street. The temperature is kept constant with an air condition. Customers prolong their shopping hours so as to enjoy this comfort.

The street has various sections of shops depending on what is sold in them, these shops include; clothes, shoes, bags, accessories, mobile and computer, food, fruits, vegetables, ...shop. Customers are given 20% discount of their shopping bill including lots of free gifts for children, youth and adults.

The shop runs all day long because of the high influx of customers. And it has more than 200 shop keepers and assistant. Goods sold in these shops are of the best quality, with moderate and affordable prices. It is accessible to all. Customers say it is the best shopping street ever and I have no objection to this, because it worth it.
