Successful sports professionals can earn a great deal more money than people in other important professions. Some people think this is fully justified while others think it is unfair.
Discuss both these views and give your own opinion.
In present ages, the phenomenon of enormous income gaps among all walks such as performers and scientists, athletes and educators has triggered plenty of unsatisfactory. Among them, the sports field because of its obvious higher income than other careers has become the focus of discussion. Some people think it is totally unfair for them to receive such a high salary while others think it is rather justified. I think both of the two aspects have their reasons for their opinion. While as far as I am concerned, I tend to stand for the latter attitude, namely, I personally consider it is a normal phenomenon for the sports professionals to earn much more money than others.
There should be some reasons for the people who disapprove of the generalization of huge income gap. First of all, it will lead to the obvious distance of standard of living. For the high income individuals, they would lead a high standard of living while the lower ones would apparently live a simple life, which is not the goal of our society. Furthermore, the inequality of incomes would influence directly the next generation, which is absolutely unfair for the generation of lower incomes individuals.
While as for the people who approve of the production of income gap, they may think of that it is an effective way to stimulate people to pursue their ideal careers. If they are eager to gain a high salary, then they need to devote themselves into it. Without this kind of stimulation, it is hard to say that there still would be so many people try their best everyday. Besides that, in terms of fairness, the high salary is a rewarding to those individuals such as sport champions who sweat every day.
In terms of my opinion, I think the income gap is necessary to sustain a society to run dynamically. But of course, aiming to its drawback, the government should take a series of steps to reduce the negative affects such as educational unfairness. By this way, we can promote the competition of current society and promise the normal development of next generation.
