A breakdown of the number of international sales of hybrid cars, measured in thousand, in three different countries from 2006 to 2009, a four-year period is presented in the bar chart. Overall while Japan experiences a significant increase in their number of hybrid vehicle sale, USA and other countries witness a steady rise.
To begin, Japan is the remarkable country which has a sharp increase in sale of cars using both fuel and electricity as the energy resource. It initially stood at just over 50 thousand in 2006 which was slight higher than other countries in the same year. Afterwards, before having its peak at just over 300 thousand in the last year, making it the highest record in the last year, it showed a gradual increase in three years to back.
Turning to the remaining countries, USA sale of car hybrid initially standing at 250 thousand in 2006, which was comparable as four times as the sales of other countries in the same year, peaked at 350 thousand in 2007, but showed an incline trend in two years to come. While the sale of hybrid automobile of other countries standing at 50 thousand in its first year experienced a steady incline during the period.
