The table reveals that the total number of students who gained the teacher of language English qualification in the United Kingdom in two academic years between 2007-2008 and 2008-2009 with two different qualifications. Overall it can be seen that, in both years, there remained stable in 2007-2008 and 2008-2009 roughly 32,937 students. In any case, there was a slight decrease in the proportion of male gaining English language training qualifications in the final period.
Between 2007 and 2008, the number of female who qualified student almost 3 times as much as male students which is 23,842 student. In this period, most of the students qualified with TEFL than Cambridge UCLES CELTA or other degrees which was accounted 24,446 students.
In the next period, from 2008 to 2009, the total of students who qualified for English language teacher was slow increased by 32,945 students and it was followed by increasing of the female by 24,324 students.
