The graph below shows the average monthly change in the prices of three metals during 2014
The line graph details the percentage of changing prices every month of three metals ( copper, nickel, zinc). Overall, the costs of all metals in the graph in the first half year fluctuated with a downward trend. It is also noticeable that the price of copper did not have too many changes in one year.
In detail, in the first month, nickel topped of the list, but during 6 months, the percentage of nickel cost plunged rapidly from 6% to -3%. Regarding metals such as copper and zinc, there was a slight fall in the costs. As for copper, after rising significantly, the percentage of copper prices dipped moderately, after that the figure for zinc saw a marginal decline between 2% and 0,5%.
In the second half of the year, the prices of 3 metals grew again. During one month, the figure for copper, nickel, and zinc increased slightly before the 3 metals remained unchanged between July and September. After that, there were moderate climb, at about 1%(nickel), 1,5%(copper), and 2%(zinc).
