Percentage of water used for different purposes in six areas of the world
These following pie charts compare the proportion of water used for different purposes in six areas of the world. In the industrial field, Europe and North America are two areas which have the highest percentage of using water with 53% and 48% respectively. The lowest proportion of industrial use is in central Asia, which is 5%. I agricultural use, central Asia contrast accounts for the largest percentage 88%, then right below it is Africa, South East Asia, South America with 84%, 81%, and 71% respectively. North America and Europe are at the bottom line with 39% and 32%. In domestic use, South America accounts for the greatest percentage of using water with 19%, follow up by Europe and North America with 15% and 13%. Both central Asia and South East Asia have the same amount of 7% which is the lowest proportion. Higher a bit than these areas is in Africa with 9%. Overall, it is clear that water is used for agriculture accounts for the largest percentage among the three purposes.
