I've thinking about this because I don't know much about how candidate analysis works and whether my personal statement and my study plan will be read by different people. Can someone explain it to me?
Do I have to introduce myself in study plan?
You have to introduce your possible masters thesis topic in the study plan. If required, you may also discuss how you plan to use the learning opportunities of the program to advance your knowledge. This is not an essay that requires you to get personal with the screener.
Depending upon the decision chain of the program you are applying to, the essays may be read by only one person before passing it to the adcom or, an increasing number of screeners could read your works depending upon the screening consideration chain.
The papers will be read by different people who may or may not be familiar with the field. That is why these essays should be understandable on the simplest terms, with as little techinal words presented. One cannot be sure if experts or non-experts will read the papers.
