HEEELPPP. I want to know whether we should write essay in accordance with this structure???

- 1/ YOUR PAST: how your study, work and research experiences prepared you for this program,
- 2/ YOUR PROPOSED STUDY AT THIS PROGRAM: show that this program is the logical follow-up for your study and career and why this program is a good match with your interests

- 3/ YOUR FUTURE: what this program will give you and how it will help to your further studies and career after graduation (don't forget mention spesific features of this program)

Others say that, Always start a personal statement by talking more about your reasons for applying to the program. Then you should talk about your research, work and academic experiences and finally close the essay by talking about how that particular program can help you achieve your goals. How much it's true???
