Essay on "Study Skils" (returning to education after many years)

Hi all i have been browsing the forums i am extremly stuck i have managed to get my self in to uni after a very long period of time away from education and i have been given my first essay on "Study skills" its only a small essay 1500 words but i am really struggling on where or how to start i have neaver had to write a essay before.

can anyone give me some tips on how to start its the first line that i am struggling with i have my essay structure planned out and i know which skills i want to write about but i just cant get that first line down and how best to structure the essay
