Essays / Essay on what happened in st.petersburg, russian in january 22, 1904 [3]

Hi, i have to act as a reporter and say what happened in st.petersburg, russian in january 22, 1904. can you please edit my work. my teacher always says that i have to use big words. Can u please try to add some big words in it.

For many years workers have been treated extremely terriblely. They have been overburned with work, insulted, and treated as slaves. They have never been considered human beings. And finally this afternoon they took a step forward and head to the Winter Palance to meet Nicholas II for justice and protection. Over 200,00 workers were presented in front of the winter palance. The officers quarding the palace told the worker to leave right away. When the workers denied that, they got angry and stared to fire shots in the air. When they saw no reaction of the crowd, they stared to shot fires directly in the crowd. Which killed five hundread of people and wounded thousands. This horrible incident has left the entire nation shoked. Our latest reports tells us that Nicholad II was not presented in St. Petersburg while this all this happend but still many people consider him the reason this bloody day.

Essays / A business letter/essay on the Duma (Tsar) [5]

Hi, my task is to write a business letter about the duma( group of people that advice the Tsar). The letter should include what the Duma is, why it has been set up, tsar attitude towards the Duma, history of previous Dumas, hopes and predictions for the duma based on the experiences of previous Duma. i am having a difficult time on how should i start the letter. Can u please edit my work and tell me some better ways of writting the whole story. Thanks

Hi, how are you? Well I've been really buzy these days in political work. I have recently joined the Duma, a group of people that advises the Tsar. I really never thought that we can change anything over here after the depressing results of the previous groups. It is really tough to change anything over here as the Tsar attitude toward the Duma is really week. But luckly we have achieved some success such as we gave local assemblies more authority in education and road building. I hope in the future the workers stand and bring socialism to the country even if the have to use violence for it.

This all i have got soo far. We had to read this information that is the bottom to write the letter. My lette is to be like sort of an with tree paragraghs. an intro, content, conclution. I am really haveing some difficulty just starting. Can u please help me out. Thanks

This is the information i have to used to write the letter

Tsar Nicholas II reluctantly granted Russia a parliamentary goverment. An elected assembly called Duma (means a group advisors) met for the first time in 1906. In fact, however, Nicholas had hardly loosed the strings of power: at its first meeting, the Duma declared that the supreme autocratic power in Russia belonged to the Tsar. The Duma couldnt propose laws; that power was left with Nicholas the Tsar. He proposed the laws and agreed not to pass them without the Duma\s consent . He kept control over the armed forces and military budget. In addition, Nicholas kept the ministers in charge of the various government departments responsible for him, not to the Duma, so the Duma had little real power. Its main role lay in the opposition it provided to the government. There were 4 Dumas. The 1st met from May- July of 1906. A few laws were passed, but little was really produced except talk. When the speeches in Duma began to get angry in tone, Nicholas dissolved the Duma. The 2nd Duma was dissolved after a short term. The 3rd Duma last from 1907-1912, and members took a few cautios steps forward. The legislated some restriction on police power and gave local assemblies more authority in education and road building. The fourth Duma existed at the time of the 1917 Revolution and was swept away along with the monarchy. Russias attempt with constitutional monarchy(such as exited and still exits in Brian) might have been a success. In time it might have developed a politically responsible population. But 2 things conspired to make this impossible. 1st , Nicholas was autocrat to the core, and was determined to hand his power intact to his son when the time came. He eventually tried to work around and bypass most of the concessions he had made following the revelution. 2nd, Russia just ran out of time: in 1914 was intervened. the great war, the war to end all wars the call it. we know of it today simply as the firsr world war.

Essays / A business letter/essay on the Duma (Tsar) [5]

Thank you soo much! I have added some more to it in the buttom can u please edited it then i will some more.

I am writing to advise you of some recent events of importance to our country and its government. Tsar Nicholas II has finally bowed to pressure and reluctantly granted Russia a parliamentary government, of sorts. This was accomplished by the creation of the Duma, an "elected" assembly. I use that term somewhat ironically, as the Duma has used its new power to declare that supreme autocratic power in Russia rests with the Tsar; in fact, the Duma cannot even propose laws. After the first and second Duma dissolved, I have joined the third one with the hope to bring some changes in our country.

As you know that I am also a member of the Socialist Revolutionaries Party and that's why my aim is to bring socialism to Russia through peasants. Even if it takes violence. I am trying to do that by being a member of the Duma and expressing my point of views. Besides that my group is also working hard to give local assemblies more power in education and road building and to legislate some boundaries on police control.

Juvenile Esther and her family is arrested amd taken to Siberia. They arrive in a camp. When it was declared that some people can move to a town called Rubousk, Esther and her family moves. They now live in a small hut. Esther starts school. And things were starting to get normal. Essays / News report on March revolution [3]

I need to write a news article with this headline"Provisional government falls" By reading this article:"by the spring of 1917,russia was in the grip of serious food shorttage. The goverment seemed to be in a state of paralysis, either unable or unwilling to do anything. Nicholas was with army of headquarters near the front and was totally out of touch with events.on march 7th, mass riots and strikes took place in st. petersburg, now refused . Many sided with the workers.nicholas orderd the duma dissolved, butits refused to obey his orthers.on march14th ,it elected a provisinal government. The next day, thetsar abdicated for both himself and his son. His brother refused the throne, and with that, the romanov line in russia was swept away. nicholas was eventually reunited with his family at tsarskoe selo, a small village south of petrograd where the palaces of tsarswere located. There, he and his family were placed under arrest while the government tried to figure out what to do with them. The provisinal government had a number of objectives. It wanted to return living conditions in russia to normal and continuet the war with germany. While the government said that all available land should begiven to the peasents,it did nothing to see that this was done. Unrest naturally increased. Strikes and demonstration hampered the government from increasing industrail productionand gitting the transportation network moving again. Food shortage did not end. the population wanted land, pease and reforms. The government promised these things but it failed to deliver. The people began to turn to the revolutionaries."

This what i have got so far:
"After making a number of promises and failing to fullfill them, the provinional government falls. The government declared that the pollution will get what it wanted. When the peoples demanded land, peace, and reforms, the government said yes they will get that, but did not do anything to see that is done."

My project is due on Friday, March 7th. I am really confused on what to add, and i am not sure if the way i am writting is like a newspaper article . My article also needs an quotes from peoples reaction on the events. Can u please edit my work and give me some ideas on how to continue and how can i add in quotes of peoples reactions . Thank you

My whole writting is squessed together, but i need to make them in paragraghs can u tell me how can i do that. here is what i have done with your help so far.

Essays / Essay on Novel Character - Esther from the novel "The Endless Steppe" [17]

Thank you soo much
I written some more to, I am haveing problems writting the conclution, I have started it but not sure how to end it. Here is it all. Can you please edit it and give me some suggestions on how to improve it before i handed it.

In the novel, The Endless Steppe, the character of Esther is a young girl of remarkable bravery and strength, who must endure hardship, loss and the cruelty of a world which steals her childhood while teaching her valuable lessons about life.Esther, an eleven-year-old girl who has to work the whole day on a farm to survive, is one of the strongest girls imaginable. After her family received permission to go and live in a small village, Esther was able to start school.Unfortunately, after her father was sent to work far away, Esther was not able to spend much time studying, as she had too much work to do.

She gives them courage that everything is fine and her father will come back soon.

In my opnion, Esther is a skinny girl with long, dark black hair she wears tightly braided, tied with old bits of yarn. Her skin is pale and her deep light brown eyes seem to big for her narrow face. She is not very tall or short just about perfect for an eleven years old girl. The way she talks is very gental. The way she presents herself front of people is very normal.

Childhood is one of the most precious times of life, in which one plays freely, eats enormously, and goes to school. Which gets stolen away from Esther. But still Esther tries to make herself happy of what she has. Overall, Esther is a very strong and brave girl.

Essays / Communist, socialist, Capitalist country - presentation essay [4]

I have to do a presentation on the differences between a socialist country, a capitalist country, and a communist country. I'm not sure how to start i have to do the presentation in a way that i use the same object for each type of countries head but explain the difference. My teachers example was with a cow...When she explained her part of the socialist country she was like there were 1 people and two cows. The government gave him one cow and gave his neighnor the other one. So the thing is fair. I need to do something like this. But with something more critical. I need some ideas on how to start it.

Thanks
