I think you could enrich more your essay with examples how an adult could spend more their time not only working. I mean, you can mention spending time with the family and friends, or to mention the importance of leisure time even for increasing productivity.

In my opinion, you've put too much attention in aspect tike financial x non-financial. And repeated the words ' work and workers' several times.

I strongly believe that one of the pillars of networking is to be able to get help to help other people and based on this belief I have been almost seventeen years creating and strengthening my network of contacts.

In my current profession, which is project management I have been working for about seven years, of which four are only as Planning Coordinator, having worked in three major construction companies and in three important Brazilian states. This has given me the great possibility to create a wide and strong network of contact allowing to help other colleagues and being able to help me too. I often get leads from former colleagues with whom I have worked on past experiences who ask me for advice, propose partnerships and even work placements. As for example, I already developed a work with a former college colleague, she developed the architectural project I made the budget and the planning of this same construction, worked very well to the point of even thinking about establishing a partnership.

I believe that international experiences - by traveling, exchanges or some specialization course - are also extraordinary opportunities to expand a network of contacts and bring a broader worldview, which is very enriching. Last year I was in Canada and once again I was able to expand my network of contacts.

Becoming part of the Chevening community, I believe that the global connections for future leaders and influencers are a great advantage that will be essential for my personal network and career development. By having friends who share the same ambition, I can learn from them and share my experience, thereby enriching and further developing my leadership and networking skills.

I am committed to devoting my time to maintaining my network in Chevening thus creating a stronger relationship. I also believe that through this new network that can be created through Chevening I see real chances in helping more people share with them new knowledge and creating bridges so that they too can expand their networks. The specialization that I am seeking through the scholarship is still very incipient here in Brazil, so the benefits and the help are not hypothetical, in fact when I return to Brazil I will have a richly expanded network that consequently I will be able to help more and more people who are looking for the same knowledge.

I understand your point of view, only the part " For instance, various electrical power plants" isn't clear for me maybe if you put the same example, it will be clearer.

Over the last four years I have been performing management functions in high-tension and pressure-producing corporate environments and mandatorily they can be obtained quickly and consistently. I have been acting as the Planning Coordinator of standard residential residences, having already been responsible for more than ten people. Where these teams were always constituted by young people, already being professionals or even completing their professional training, which always demanded a high capacity to keep them motivated and always aware of the results that we should seek.

My team and I have always obtained excellent results due to a partnership achieved through respect, transparency in relationships and stipulating goals/objectives where everyone had the freedom to think about the best way forward to reach the pre-established goals of the company. It was a kind of pact established through dialogue and more horizontal relations, almost collaborative leadership where everyone had clear notions of their fields of action, but without losing the systemic view. The clearest example of the success of our team was to be able to contribute to the reduction of an average delay of works in progress from 1 year to 4 months and in some specific cases reducing this delay to zero, as well as the fact that we are cases for other projects. planning for other areas of the company, we have become a kind of benchmarking within the company itself.

Another good example of my leadership and good influence with my people is that even now in another company, I keep in touch with former colleagues where they ask me for opinions about how to act in certain situations and/or sharing small victories, be they professional or family.

I can also mention that throughout my life I have always found myself in situations and positions of leadership: be it between friends or in the family environment. It is a very natural situation for me to take a look at the result and what actions we must take to get there. For example, I have already been a representative of a class indicated by teachers and classmates, I have taught for a certain period of time, which has given me a great idea of keeping the attention of a group and in many family matters I am always ahead in making important decisions.

In my view, leadership is in the corporate environment or does not always imply influencing people positively, passing clear guidelines in order to achieve the defined goals. Leading is first and foremost driving people projects, ideas, and goals.
