Poetry / "The Red Wheelbarrow" by Williams Carlos Williams [2]

Hi everyone I have to write an essay regarding the poem "The Red Wheelbarrow" by William Carlos Williams and I need ideas. The poem is:

So much depens
upon

a red wheel
barrow

glazed with rain
water

besides the white
chickens.

The prompt is:

In a well organized essay, of a recommended 500- 700 words typist count, explain how "The Red Wheelbarrow" can logically be understood as an essay writting in the form of a poem that makes a statement about the importance of subsistence farming to the succes of America as a nation.

I have notes (even though our professor barely taught us anything by getting side tracked by every little thing) so if you need them just ask. I greatly appreciate your help. Thank you!

Undergraduate / Adding, subtraction, integers, and fractions, the difficult subjects - Gates [4]

this is my new essay hopefully it is better!

Great minds from India have built cities using geometric regularity, Hindu-Arabic scholars wrote books containing numerals and methods for solving equations, and Galileo used mathematics along with scientific ideas to observe the moons of Jupiter in orbit around the planet. Basic concepts such as addition, subtraction, integers, and fractions were used and those ideas to benefit us today. An average person would think that those four concepts were basic. In fact they are, but going deeper into those concepts can become harder by the day. As I grew into far more advanced classes and the math went from simple equations to the analysis of components, it was only a matter of time until my grades began to slip and for me to start receiving tutoring. Being in a Pre- Calculus class with the majority of the students who were senior's, not only discouraged me from using my full potential but I was also distracted from paying attention to the lessons being taught. Day by day I began to fall behind in my work so much that I decided to give up. Being in a class full of people who were smarter than me discouraged me until Mr. Green, my teacher, finally realized that I had fallen behind. Mr. Green found a senior who was willing to help me bring my grades up and also make math easier to understand. Getting help was a slow and gut wrenching process but eventually I began to get the hang of what my peers seemed to grasp so easily. Fortunately I do not have to take any math classes being that I fulfilled my graduation requirements ahead of time, but if I would have never received the help in which I did not only would I be pinned with another math class but also left without the degree of knowledge I now have. Being able to improve in math has not only helped me for future classes in college but has also given me the confidence that if I believe to achieve I can succeed.

Undergraduate / Adding, subtraction, integers, and fractions, the difficult subjects - Gates [4]

This is the start of my essay, I am not sure how to finish it so can you guys point out corrections, I know it is short and concise but that is all that came to mind.

Discuss the subjects in which you had difficulty. What factors do you believe contributed to your difficulties? How have you dealt with them so they will not cause problems for you again? In what areas have you experienced the greatest improvement? What problem areas remain?

Adding, subtraction, integers, and fractions come to mind when I think of math. An average person would think that those four concepts were basic. In fact they are, but as I grew into far more advanced classes and the math went from simple equations to the analysis of components, it was only a matter of time until my grades began to slip and me having to receive tutoring. Undergraduate / "education and community" Why Columbia Short Answer Essay [3]

from experience try to cut some of the sentences short because a million and two people are going to send essays that make them "seem" more educated than they are, my aunt being an essay reader for the UC system often tells me how she and other essay readers get tired of reading the same thing and they dubbed all the essays big macs because they all come the same. in all the essay is great because its embodies what you expect out of their school and what you want to get by attending their, so just tweek the essay a little.

Scholarship / "my favorite subjects are English and History" - Gates Millennium [3]

This is the start of my essay, I am not sure how to finish it so can you guys point out corrections and help me finish the essay! :)

Discuss the subjects in which you excel or have excelled. To what factor do you sttribute your success?

Growing in school, I have noticed my favorite subjects are English and History. These subjects inspire me to create a deeper understanding and a love for the history that newer generations have no interest in. I find myself captivated with these subjects, specifically, its incessant advancement. How great intellectual minds used literature, art, and music to challenge racism and stereotypes to promote progressive or socialist politics with the Harlem Renaissance or how William Shakespeare's plays make fundamental statements about the human condition which are still parallel to way we live in society now.The histories I learn in both subjects illustrate the paths of evolution in which man has taken. In understanding each subject I realized that they tell the way for the past, present, and future. But the interest in these subjects hasn't always grasped my attention. In grade school we were always taught the basics of what the book implied, but as I grew older entering middle school and the teachers taught with more passion and insight, the fascination for English and History grew far more. With the support and understanding from my teachers, their drive to make both subjects more than just text from a book gave way for me to excel intellectually in English and History.
