As I've already told you how much helpful EssayForum has been to me. Here is one more piece of essay. I am posting this to help my self and to help others as well. Kindly put your suggestions or modifications to make it better and let me know if its good enough to submit.

Describe an ethical dilemma that you have personally encountered. What alternatives did you consider, and why? DO NOT tell us what you decided to do.

It was a usual day of September 2012, I was busy in my work. Things were going fluently and nobody was in any sort of trouble. Around 12 o'clock, my office phone rung, a call which was a sort of complaint, stating NIMS-server is not working. First I thought it could be a machine failure or server might have been overloaded and it might have caused a slow-down. I asked one of my mates to look into the issue and I started my work again.

After some time, he came and said I am not able to start the server. A short call was now turning into chaos and everyone was looking tensed as no one was able to find the reason for such sudden shut down of server. I looked into the issue, I was shocked as I found crash because of some file changes. Firstly, I asked my teammates regarding any new files deployed on server which could have caused the crash. Response was either no or "I don't know". I was struck with this, how come system can crash when no one tampered with it. I saw, one of my mate's face was looking dry and filled with tensed expressions. I asked her, did you deploy any file on main server? She said "I didn't do it intentionally". Her explanation shocked me, how come an associate can do such silly mistake.

However, now I was feeling like what should I do? If I will report this issue to project manager then it is going to harm my mate's career and if I won't report it then it is against the rules and even I could have been accused for not reporting such a big issue to project manager and this was surely going to hamper my image as well. After few minutes I found one more alternative. Although this issue was looking like out of my reach but if I could solve this issue on my own and don't let anyone know whether such issue ever occurred it can save all and no one will get hampered. However, in my heart I was praying please god make things correct and no one must be affected.

What are your career goals, and how will this degree help you achieve those goals?
After my under graduation I joined [****] Technology Pvt. Ltd. where I am working as a Junior System Analyst (Software Engineer) till date. My role in [****] is to develop the internal web application to automate the functionality of this organization. I have got this platform to develop my skills of research and development. In last few months I've done lot of research regarding new implementations in my project to make it faster and efficient and learned how to manage team and get their best of out of them, as I was support lead and I proved to be an efficient leader. I got excellent rating in appraisals for the same. It is where I found myself more prone toward management in a technological mixture.

But now I believe that the all too short 4-year undergraduate program cannot truly make me master of all the sophisticated computer skills to perform effective information management. I want to consolidate my academic foundation and work experience to further improve my computer expertise so that I can become a well-trained Computer specialist with handy sleights of management. "Information Management System" program provides the kind of exposure needed to broaden my thinking and undo my blinkered preconceptions that might be still prevalent in me. Graduate study would give me front-line exposure to the technological and management advances made in this field and allow me to contribute to its immense development. So for this and above mentioned reasons, I want to apply for a Master's program at Mays Business School, which enjoys an indubitable top ranking in "Information Technology and Management" in U.S.

In a university of such convergence of people from every culture, nationality, religion and ideology, I am sure that exposure to these kinds of diverse stimuli would aid in the overall development of my personality. I affirm that I shall work to the best of my capabilities and utilize every opportunity given to me in the best possible way. Hi everyone, I am a working guy who wants to pursue MS in MIS from TAMU. Below is an essay written by me for the question asked by university. Kindly suggest me required changes and any other addition. As I am not from literature so it would be quite helpful to suggest me a suitable summary for the same. Thank you in advance... :)

I started my journey for my career when I came to know the use of education. In my earlier days I had no aim and was going school just for sake or one can say it was a daily routine to be followed by every boy in my village. When I reached in 9th standard, I came to know about a term "Engineer" and desperately asked my class teacher "What is an Engineer?". She replied my question with a really attractive elaboration. The time I came to know how my education can help me to grow better in future and accomplish my dreams, I started working on it. In my secondary education, I scored first division and was in top 10 students of my class. Being from a small village was a big obstacle in my higher education and I could not perform well in higher secondary education although I still got first division but I was not satisfied with it. I continued my journey for higher education with a dream of becoming a "Computer Engineer".

Furthermore, word computer might surprise you over here, as you might think how a boy from such a small village with such a backward education could dream for computer. For your kind information, I got my first computer as a gift from my father in 1998, when almost no one in my village knew the meaning of the term computer. I loved to play with it and do basic computer things with it. The quench of learning computer was growing eagerly day by day. And as a result I chose my hobby as my career. To accomplish my dream I joined The ICFAI University in 2007 to pursue my undergraduate degree in Computer Science & Engineering.

It was quite exciting when I joined college and I was fulfilled with positive energy. In first two years of B. Tech I scored above 8 out of 10 GPA and secured scholarship from my university. However, at the end of the second year a mishap happened in my family and was a cause for crestfallen in my performance. My GPA got decreased and I was depressed with such results. But as I am a person fulfilled with positive thoughts and great will power, I started working hard to recover my grads. In my final year of education, I and my friend Deepak got a chance to work with a professor from IIT Bombay (M. Tech) in his research project related to "Face detection in a static image" based on JAVA. I secured grad A in his research project and our department HOD appreciated our work and presentation for the same.

Next, in my final semester of B. Tech I joined a leading IT company as an intern and learned about practical world applications and got exposure to clients. I worked on a project called "COAS-CAB" related to INDIAN Army complain advisory department. This project gave me a chance to know and learn about military domain. In this project, we used and learned different J2EE technologies for example struts-MVC, spring, hibernate etc. This project helped me to crack the interview held at my campus placement and I secured a job in Nihilent technologies. After a fall in my grads in second year of college I recovered and scored 8.12 GPA as an aggregate.

After a long break of 4 months I joined Nihilent technologies on 3rd Oct 2011. This was a great achievement in my life for me as I took one more step toward my career accomplishment. After 3 months of joining I got a chance to lead my support team. During this time I got assessed by my HR recruitment manager, and she explained me that I was chosen to lead the project. It was a twist for me as I always kept myself prone toward technology, but from that moment onwards I started to nurture my leadership skills. I worked on different research projects under my organization's CTO Abhay sir. I accomplished these projects successfully and was appreciated by my CTO and project manager and I got excellent ratings in my appraisals.

Apart from my academic and professional skills, I have always participated in extracurricular activities held in my school, college and organization as well. I was in my college's cricket team and my team was winner in Intra University Cricket championship. I was awarded man of the match in our first match. Other than cricket I participated in 300 m race and secured 3rd position. I like to play other games like volleyball, table-tennis etc. I participated in "C-Questa", a competition held in my university for C-language, and scored 3rd position first level, because of my internal exam I couldn't participate in next level. I was a part of college cultural committee and managed few events held on cultural days in my university. In Nihilent, there is a festival named "Nihilentia", a series of events between teams of associates. I participated in Nihilentia 2011 and 12 both. I performed skit, participated in different events. In Nihilentia 2011 my team was on 3rd position, in 2012 it is on 1st. I always participate in such events proactively.

Finally, I would like to express my views for my future plans. Earlier I always wanted to pursue PhD in computer science but later when I found myself fulfilled with leadership skills as well as technical skills I started looking for proper course which can nurture both my technical and managerial skills at higher level. I ended up with MIS and started preparing for all related exams and requirements. I would say all my past achievements and academics will help me to accomplish my MS in MIS and I will utilize my skills to grow better.
