Research Papers / "The Fall of Communism" research paper. [2]

I am doing a research essay on "The Fall of Communism" and I don't know where to start. She wants it to be 7 pages total. I was considering just looking up a timeline for the fall of communism and do a page on each event I suppose..

Also, how would I even create a thesis for this? I thought thesis are used more for argumentative essays because you have points to an argument but she's looking for a thesis on this research paper..

How would you format it? Do you guys have any ideas for the body & creating a thesis for it?

Writing Feedback / Parental influence and teenagers pressure to go into certain career paths [4]

So for my thesis, which I have elaborated, it is "Language helps teenagers navigate their comprehension of potential career paths through parental and peer influences in addition to pre-existing expectations for gender specific careers"

For body paragraph one I want to talk about parental influence and how it pressures teens to go into certain career paths
body paragraph two would be the same idea except about peer influence and social interaction
body paragraph three is going to be about gender stereotypes (like boys stereo-typically go into math and science fields instead of girls)

BUT, I need help on deciding what I want to write about.. I was thinking for parental influence to talk about ideas directly derived from parents, and also a teen looking at their dad's profession and wanting to follow in his footsteps, etc. Perhaps reference bring your kids to work day or career day in school.

The same goes for peer influence, perhaps envy is a factor in wanting what materialistic possessions a friend has so you will be interested in their career.

I am in need of other ideas to help broaden my discussion about how parental and peer influence can pressure a teens career path choice.

I know this site is to help with essays, but do you guys help with essay outlines as well? I am making for my first in class college essay, the prompt is "How does language impact society? " and unless you can think of something better, It made me think about how many teenagers are unsure what they want to do for their future career paths right out of high school and how parents and social influences pressure teens into certain fields, here's my thesis I have so far..

"Language helps teenagers navigate their comprehension of potential career paths."

Now I'm trying to think of body paragraphs.

For my first body paragraph I would like to talk about how parents influence teens career choices , I would also like to add something personal like my experiences of uncertainty in what I want to do, should I include that I personally had career uncertainty, or not ? If so, should I put it in my first paragraph about parental influences or make a paragraph about it by itself ?

Perhaps I could also talk about how gender stereotypes influence which career path teens pursue? Would that be a good idea?

Finally, I need help thinking of topics for my last two body paragraphs.
