Letter of Advice

Dear Ms.Wilson,

I am writing on behalf of the Students' Advisory Service in reply to your letter of 21st May and would like to congratulate you on obtaining a place at the University of Languages and International Studies. With reference to your letter requesting advice on finding an experimental part-time job, I hope that the following suggestions would be helpful in your circumstance.

You mentioned that you do not know what to do to get work experience and earn some extra money from your job. It would be useful to your advantage to apply for the position of teaching assistant in the English Centre near the university, as your major is English as well. I would also love to suggest that you can even take a books translator as your second job. That way you will probably become more influential in your major as you can obtain the grammar and vocabulary which can be useful in both social and academic studies.

Taking my advice into consideration, you would possess the interpersonal skills and experience needed in your workplace after you graduate. Moreover, when you are working part time, you can have for your own some extra cash to afford the basic essentials without relying on your parents.

In your letter, you also refer to your worries about when should you get started to do a part-time job. I would rather you carefully plan your schedule in order that you have enough time to study at school while still having time to work and engage in recreational activities. Furthermore, applying for the job in the second semester of the first year would be beneficial. At that time you can adjust your schedule easier as you get used to the timeline at school. Most importantly, I strongly recommend that you should work from 16 to 18 hours per week so that you can complete your working tasks efficiently and punctually.

You may rest assured that you will be fine with your part-time job since you can soon understand the work environment and gain more experience at work, which can be added in your curriculum vitae to impress your potential employers as well.

I hope that these suggestions will be of some assistance. Please do not hesitate to contact me again should you have any further questions.

Yours sincerely,
Le Quynh Trang

experimental part-time job

There is no such thing As an experimental part- time job, only a part time job. double check your reference to make sure this is nota reference error.

I am writing on behalf of the Students' Advisory Service ... University of Languages and International Studies.

This is a run _ on sentence. lvide the topic presentation into 2 sentences for clarity and formality.

I would also love to suggest

Informal presentation. Use a business-like presentation. normal wording is refered throughout. Omit the word love in the sentence.

books translator

Plural V. singular issue. These should be fluidly plural (books translators) or singular (book translator). You cannot mix the 2 in a single presentation.

you will probably become

As you are considered a voice of authority by this person, this note of uncertainty will not help create confidence in your statement. Restate with confidence.
