Hi again everyone, I would appreciate your feedback on my Motivation Letter for the Erasmus Mundus Master Impact Entrepreneurship programme. The requirement is a one-page limit, so I'm trying to make it concise while keeping the key elements clear. Any suggestions on clarity, structure, or tone would be very helpful.

Thank you

Dear Admissions Committee,

Having a strong passion for technology and entrepreneurship, I founded a startup named Gudang Karier Indonesia, a digital recruitment platform connecting job seekers to credible MSME industries. My commitment is tailored to employment challenges of senior high school and vocational school graduates, who often struggle to match their skills with job opportunities. The Erasmus Mundus Master in Impact Entrepreneurship (EMMIE) program aligns perfectly with my ambition to further develop an inclusive and innovative employment platform and contribute to SDG 8: decent work and economic growth.

During my bachelor's studies, I focused on building Gudang Karier Indonesia into a recruitment ecosystem on our website and online community. This gave me a deep understanding of startup complexities and honed my analytical thinking and problem solving skills. Managing the startup with a small team, I recognize that driving business growth requires profound knowledge in business innovation and entrepreneurship, giving me the confidence to pursue EMMIE to create meaningful social impact.

Besides, I also mentored local MSMEs in the SiBakul Jogja community in business strategy and operational management. Assisting entrepreneurs to optimize their operations reinforced my belief that learning at a global level will enhance my ability to mentor, innovate, and scale social companies both in MSME and its community.

Studying a Master's in Impact Entrepreneurship is the best fit with my academic and professional objectives. I found the program structures stand out with the managerial techniques, social and sustainable business innovations, and impact entrepreneurship courses which are crucial for me in creating innovative and sustainable digital startup companies. The opportunity for collaborative entrepreneurial projects and seminars offers direct learning through pitching to business experts and potential investors. Learning in different countries such as Croatia, Lithuania, and Belgium also provides a unique chance for me to live multicultural experiences while growing in a professional environment.

My future career focuses on the development of Gudang Karier Indonesia to be the number one talent platform in Indonesia. With that in mind, I would aspire to create partnerships or agreements with several companies so that the young job seekers can secure appropriate jobs after graduation. In the long term, I plan to contribute to government programs as a mentor and advisor, especially in areas related to IT and workforce development.

I thoroughly believe that taking the Master's in Impact Entrepreneurship program will spark my future career as an excellent entrepreneur. Developing my capabilities in entrepreneurial and academic dedication enables me to contribute meaningfully to the economic growth in Indonesia. I sincerely hope for the opportunity to join EMMIE and participate in its dynamic academic community.

Sincerely

SDG 8: decent work and economic growth.

Clarify that this is the SDG of your country. Indicate the year by when this is supposed to be completely achieved by the government and that you have networked to help achieve this goal.

Besides,

Remove this adverb. The common reader tends to take this as a negative that removes the importance of the previous statement. In reality it refers to "in addition to" but is not often read that way by reviewers. It would be best to immediately say, "I also mentored..." to avoid any confusion.

Please also refer to the universities that you have opted to study at for the masters courses and explain what motivated you to make those choices. These should show how you can also contribute positively to the learning experience by explaining how you can motivate others also enrolled in the course.

Motivation letter for Scholarship EMMIE

Hello everyone,

I am applying to the Erasmus Mundus Joint Master in Impact Entrepreneurship (EMMIE) and would appreciate your feedback on two one-page documents required for the application:

1. A Personal Motivation Letter for the program

2. A Scholarship Motivation Letter

I have previously received feedback on an earlier version of my motivation letter, which I am attaching only as a reference to show the development of my ideas and background. My main intention here is to ensure that the current versions are clear, concise, and well-aligned with Erasmus Mundus expectations.

I would be grateful for feedback on:

- Whether the two essays are coherent but clearly differentiated in purpose
- Clarity of structure and flow within the one-page limit
- Strength of motivation, leadership, and impact narrative
- Overall persuasiveness for both program admission and scholarship selection

Thank you very much for your time and insights.

My scholarship essay:

Dear Mr/Mrs. Admissions Committee,
I am writing to express my utmost interest in studying a Master's in Impact Entrepreneurship (EMMIE) with the prestigious Erasmus Mundus Joint Master's Degree full scholarship. Studying in a three-country mobility pathway offers a unique chance for me to experience multiculturalism while enhancing my entrepreneurship capacity to leverage social impact through my startup, Gudang Karier Indonesia. Furthermore, I aspire to contribute to Indonesia's workforce development as a mentor and facilitator, which requires profound interdisciplinary knowledge in business, socio-entrepreneurship, and management, uniquely provided by the EMMIE's programme.

My academic background in Information Engineering led me to establish Gudang Karier Indonesia, a digital recruitment platform connecting job seekers to credible micro, small, and medium-sized enterprises (MSMEs). This platform addresses employment challenges faced by senior high school and vocational school graduates by helping them align their skills with industry needs. Leading this startup sharpened my capabilities in digital product strategy, value creation, and operational management, preparing me to engage in EMMIE's interdisciplinary training in entrepreneurship and business impact studies. Additionally, my involvement in an international export project collaboration with French partners broadened my understanding of diverse business contexts and strengthened my capacity for stakeholder management from a global lens.

Studying the Erasmus Mundus Master in Impact Entrepreneurship (EMMIE) is a brilliant initial step in my academic and professional trajectory, as it offers an interdisciplinary and comparative approach to impact on entrepreneurship across European contexts. The program's international exposure to global business frameworks, innovation and technology, and business models would enable me to assess and adapt best practices, which align with my goals to contribute to the sustainable growth of digital startups in Indonesia. I believe that receiving the Erasmus Mundus scholarship is crucial in granting me equitable access to this joint European programme, allowing me to fully dedicate myself to academic excellence, entrepreneurial projects, and intercultural collaboration without financial barriers. With my background in building a startup, I will further contribute with practical insights that reinforce the sustainability of the Indonesian workforce and add value to EMMIE's faculty itself.

Upon completing EMMIE, I intend to further develop Gudang Karier Indonesia into a sustainable impact venture as a leading talent platform in Indonesia. During this time, I plan to establish partnerships that bridge education, industry, and youth employment ecosystems. Leveraging my knowledge and networks gained through the Erasmus Mundus programme, I aspire to contribute as a mentor and facilitator for young employment and MSMEs by transferring global business frameworks to Indonesia's socio-economic realities.

I believe that being a part of Erasmus Mundus Joint Master alumnus will shape my future career as an impact-driven entrepreneur and strengthen my contribution to society. The programme will equip me with the competencies required to translate entrepreneurial knowledge into sustainable social impact, and I am committed to utilizing this opportunity responsibly to contribute meaningfully to Indonesia's development and the global entrepreneurship ecosystem. Thank you for considering my application.

Sincerely
