Stipendium Hungaricum Motivation Letter - Medicine
My motivation letter:
Dear Admission Committee,
I am writing this motivation letter to apply for a one-tier master's degree in medicine at XXX. With this letter, I wish to also express my interest in joining the Stipendium Hungaricum Scholarship Programme.
In June XXXX, I will be receiving my high school diploma at XXX in XXX. At the beginning of my senior year, I decided to take advanced courses in biology, chemistry, and calculus that are available in my school in order to challenge myself and gain as much knowledge in my favorite subjects as possible. I also held leadership roles in high school. My most recent one was class president in 11th grade. Furthermore, I have participated in numerous volunteering jobs in my four years of high school. My volunteering jobs made me realize how much I love helping people. Knowing that I had done something to help made me set on a career where I am able to help others constantly. However, medicine is not only a subject that will let me help others but it is also a subject that will allow me to continue learning what I love.
Science has always been a subject that I find the most intriguing, especially when it comes to the human body. I enjoy learning about the human body, how it works, what happens when it goes wrong, and most importantly what we can do to help when it does. Therefore, medicine seems to encompass all of what I am interested in and give me such a vast opportunity for what I may achieve in the future. It is astounding how much we humans have achieved when it comes to the field of medicine and I would love to be able to contribute to it. Studying a subject where it would enable me to positively impact people's future is a big dream of mine. I hope to become a dermatologist one day and by studying medicine, I would be able to attain my ambition.
I have chosen Hungary as my study destination because of my need for exposure to a new environment. By studying in the heart of Europe, I am able to learn a new culture and a new language. Due to the high quality of education and low-cost tuition fees, I know that Hungary is where I should go to fulfill my dreams.
