Dear Sir:
With this letter, I would like to express my interest in studying at the University of Skoltec as a Master student.
I am applying for the Petroleum Institute to pursue my Master Degree in Petroleum Engineering with all my passion and desire for life-long learning. Throughout my search and discussions with academic professionals, I came to respect the high reputation of your university and the high quality of its courses, teaching methods and staff. I have the passion towards research areas in oil industry. To be more precise, i would like to peruse a career as a researcher in the petroleum industry, which led me to apply to your university.

I have completed my undergraduate studies in Geophysics from Quaid e Azam University Islamabad, Pakistan, in April 2018, with a CGPA of 3.7 out of 4.00. I was an active somehow indulgent student among others during my undergraduate studies, very often involved in many curricular and co-curricular activities. I took 2nd position in the list of 40 students in my undergraduate class. I am the silver medalist of my class. At Quaid e Azam University I had the opportunity to work in the geophysics department labs under Dr.Gulraiz Akhter Chairman of the department of earth sciences for a project titled " Seismic and Well Log Interpretation of Fimkassar area Upper Indus Basin Pakistan'' .I completed 6 weeks internship at OMV (Pakistan) Exploration GmbH OMV Maurice Energy Limited, Islamabad.

I have chosen to apply for the University of Skoltec, because I really like its study system. Skoltech educates graduates who will solve future problems by creating and using future technology as well as being active in future markets. The other reason why I have chosen the Skoltec university is its some key education features like ''Cross-disciplinary project-based education, Education for innovation and Education with many opportunity cycles for practice''. The fast-growing economy, technological advancement and the global ranking education institutes of Russia with high reputation makes a great aspiration for the students and professionals for the better career perspectives. Thus such kind of positivity has boosted my confidence further and I am highly satisfied with the decision I have taken. All these reasons put together to make Russia an ideal place for me to do my MS degree.

I believe that my educational background combined with my skills and experiences have set me in the right direction to pursue a Master degree at your university. I have overcome many difficult situations that helped me develop a great self-confidence, self-motivation and a willingness to learn and grow as a person. I am now looking for my next challenge, gaining a place at your highly prestigious university and start learning new and different aspects in petroleum engineering. If I can get an opportunity to be a part of that intellectually stimulating environment, I am sure my talents will be put to optimal use.

The motivation in relation to your research interests should be the focal point of your letter. Consider how, overthe course of your professional career, certain events happened that led you to this patti. Discuss how those experiences served to motivate this final decision. The second paragraph is an S O P required presentation. Take that out of this essay and transfer it to the S O P. Develop the university choice and curriculum paragraph to your study targets as a researcher. That paragraph requires more relevant explanation development in relation to your current career path leading into your becoming a researcher. The essay provides the basic requirements of a motivation letter with plenty of room for improvement.
