Where am I? I am here! (poem)

I am here
I wonder where HERE is?
I heard of this place but,
I see nothing
I want to find something,
I am here

I pretend it is
I feel a distance
I touched the unreal
I worry of the unknown
I cried in my silence
I am here

I understand nothing
I said to myself
I dream of challenge
I try to reach
I hope for compassion
I am HERE!

Overall, I do like your poem; however, I would personally add some figurative language to it and make it a little longer. Also, I feel a little disconnected with the line "I pretend it is." I really like the repetition and there is definitely an emotional tone coming from the poem!
