Here is my study plan draft. I haven't fully completed it yet and still working on it. I need your advises to continue this and hope you will review my study plan. Below are the guidelines.
Please don't just copy and paste from this as I experienced it for my self-introduction letter. anyway thank you in advance.
I am planning to pursue global MBA program during my stay in South Korea as a KGSP scholarship awardee. The goals of my study can be mentioned as to enhance my fundamental knowledge I acquired from my undergraduate studies, to improve my English language proficiency and to be fluent in Korean language and to obtain practical experience by interning in a Korean company.
As I have already mentioned in my self-introduction letter, culture is something that I am really interested in. It is one of the most important obsessions in a country and it takes place according to the traditions which are coming from the past and it keeps changing over the time. These cultural factors mostly affect like a chain to businesses and consumer behaving patterns. Therefore, my research will revolve around the topic of the culture in an international context. To be precise, I will conduct my research study how national cultures affect organizational cultures and how it affects the staffing approaches of multinational companies and ultimately its impact on the performance of business.
My initial plan is to select a Korean multinational company and study about the Korean national and organizational culture. However, I will consider whether to choose two or more countries which have high context cultures and low context cultures in order to represent the cultural diversity among countries with the guidance of my research adviser. Geert Hofstede's cultural dimension will be used to analyze cultural differences and will talk about staffing approaches of ethnocentric, polycentric and geocentric staffing policies. Eventually, I will address about how the chosen staffing policy has impacted on the performance and what steps the company has taken to improve cross cultural literacy among expatriates.
Goal of study, tittle or subject of research and detailed study plan.
