During my studies for a bachelor's degree in Global business, I discovered that I enjoyed studying business in more depth. I believe I have gained a deeper understanding of how to operate a business, how to maintain a business, and also the business prospects that I can pursue. However, I feel that my bachelor's degree doesn't provide enough knowledge to be able to build my own business. The desire to establish my firm serves as my motivation to pursue a Master of Business Administration in Korea. I wish to pursue my education further to obtain broader insight, experience, and knowledge to help me accomplish my objectives.

Apart from that, I'm able to pursue more options by studying in Korea, including the possibility of working in Korea. I would like to work in the export and import industry before establishing my own company. In addition to learning more, I want to create connections with experts in this field. Based on my research, South Korea's economy has grown to be one of the world's most dynamic and successful. South Korea currently has the tenth-largest economy in the world, with a GDP of over $1.63 trillion. The nation's economic revenue will inevitably rise as a result of exporting goods. In addition to increasing investment and covering more domestic markets, export efforts can lead to new market prospects elsewhere. This is one of the reasons why starting a business in this field in South Korea is one of my future aspirations.

I graduated from Chinese Culture University in Taiwan in January 2024, majoring in Global Business with a satisfactory GPA. I got a GPA of 3.97 out of 4. I believe I got such a high GPA thanks to my effort and self-confidence. Being an ambitious person, I will accomplish whatever I set out to do and will never look back. If I fail, I will learn from my mistakes and try again until I reach my goals to my satisfaction. I decided to study in Taiwan because I learned how important the Chinese language is in our society these days, also I got a scholarship during my studies so I don't have to worry about tuition fees.

I chose global business as my major because I have always been interested in how Business works between countries. Since high school, I have been an active student. I participated in numerous organizations and volunteer activities. A very valuable experience for me was when I was part of the external funding committee. My task as an external funding committee is to look for sponsors who are willing to fund the event that my school will execute. This event was one of the biggest events at my school at that time. While carrying out my duties, I learned many things and gained a lot of knowledge. One of them is how to approach companies verbally and non-verbally in the right way. I approached many potential companies to sponsor my school's events, but most of these companies refused. I kept trying to approach the company's office to get sponsors and hold lots of meetings. In the end, I got several sponsors who wanted to collaborate with my event. From there I learned that I have to keep trying until I get good results and not to give up halfway.

I also have had my online shop since I was in junior school. I had a great time operating my online shop. Being passionate, having a positive attitude, and diligence are my strong points. I have experience working in a variety of sectors that call for specialized knowledge and enthusiasm. As a result, I can see things from multiple angles and empathize with a wide range of individuals to determine what their needs are at any particular time. I believe that the most valuable resource in life is time. Although time will pass by, the experiences and knowledge we get by spending that time will not fade in an instant. It will be our provision in the future. During my studies, I hardly ever have spare time since I always use it to accomplish tasks that will have a positive impact on my future. I also worked part-time while I was studying in Taiwan. I work part-time in various fields, such as in restaurants, hotels, wedding organizers, and many more. Through my work experience, I have gained a more comprehensive understanding of what working life is truly like. I learned how crucial it is to have good communication with people and to maintain and build a connection with others.

Since I was a kid I have been dreaming of studying abroad. The idea of studying abroad filled me with joy and excitement because I love adventures and traveling. As I started high school, I realized I had no hope of going to study abroad because of my family's financial problems. Therefore I enrolled at the university in my hometown. I majored in food technology. I choose food technology as my major because of my parent's insistence. My studies began in the middle of 2018. During my studies, I participated actively in organizations and attended many events. At the end of 2019, I felt very fatigued and frustrated because I felt that the major I was taking was not the field that I was interested in and I didn't see myself developing in that field. Eventually, I realized that I couldn't waste any more time doing something I didn't enjoy at all. After a long thought, I decided to drop out of college in Indonesia and start all over again. Since then, I tried to find information on scholarships to study abroad. One of my choices for studying abroad is Taiwan. Ultimately, I decided on Taiwan because of its comparatively low cost of living and the fact that knowing the Chinese language will help me in the future. At the beginning of 2020, I was accepted at a university in Taiwan and received a scholarship. Even though I got a scholarship to cover my tuition fees, I still have to work part-time to cover my living expenses in Taiwan. However, because I got the chance to work part-time, I picked up a lot of life lessons the hard way while living in Taiwan. My perspective has altered significantly as a result of moving abroad, starting with language, culture, and society. I experienced many things that made me grow significantly. I met lots of different people from various countries that got different aspirations and goals in life. Listening to their life story made me somehow grow in my way. I aspire to be successful in life. Not only in terms of material, but also gaining respect from people, and making my parents proud of their daughter. Until now, the best decision I have made in my life is to move to Taiwan for college.

In the last year of my studies, I had the opportunity to go to Korea as an exchange student. I have always loved Korea since I was in middle school. Since then I've studied the Korean language, and I can now read, write, listen, and speak in Korean. I start my exchange program from September 2023 until December 2023. I had a lot of spare time because I didn't have many classes to take. I use my spare time to travel, do internships, and also to plan what I will do after graduation. I got the chance to do an internship at an entertainment company called Asia Lab. I handle many things at 2 events which are Jeonju International Sori festival and Runway to Seoul. I also collaborate with the artist directly. Living in Korea, made me realize that I feel more confident when speaking in Korean than Chinese. I started to like Korea much more than I expected. Since then, I started to find opportunities on how I can pursue a master's degree in Korea. As a result, I decided to apply for the Global Korea Scholarship because of these interests and goals, and I want to be able to use this once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to achieve my future goals. I have decided to pursue a Master's degree in business administration through the GKS program due to my current financial situation. The program offers strong financial support, along with excellent educational and cultural opportunities, without which I would not be able to follow my passion.

The essay is a personal statement based on your interest in Korea, what you want to learn, and your current credentials. While these are important information to the presentation, you should consider the information that the application packet asked you to supply. Your essay should be revised based upon those content requirements. Remember that you are applying to a scholarship that has student information requirements for their applicants. So read over the prompts for the personal statement, work on delivering the most responsive presentation that you can. It will require heavy editing of the current version but believe me, it will be worth it when you see that you are delivering the correct information for your application consideration.
