ACTIVITIES THAT WAS MOST MEANINGFUL TO YOU
helping the inexperienced student to have the basic knowledge of mathematics is one of the mathematics student association of ijaye Ojokoro high school objectives.
We achieve this goal through organising tutorial for the students of ijaye Ojokoro senior high school. Each day we make use of the reading culture to tutor the students.

Standing before the class teaching is always my joy. When doing this it help me to understand more what have learnt and it always challenging when a student ask question I couldn't answer. I will have to consult my teacher and textbooks.

It always my joy when seeing the outcome of the tutorial. For instance, one of my classmates I tutored then happens to be the head prefect when we got to SS3(currently studying civil engineering at Ladoke university of technology, Oyo Nigeria) and one of my junior colleague I tutored happens to be the best student when he was in SS2 and he chosen as head prefect when he got to SS3(currently studying computer science at yaba college of education) and the other are doing good in their studies.

During me days at preciousland college as mathematics teacher, two of my students represented their school at National cowbell mathematics competition.
Looking back at this, always add to my joy .
Looking forward to MasterCard scholarship committee at take university given the opportunity to impact my knowledge of mathematics onto the students in Africa.

WHAT DO YOU PLAN TO STUDY AT YAKE UNIVERSITY? WHAT CAREER ARE YOU PURSING AT THIS POINT AND WHY?
It has been my dream of becoming a lecturer in mathematics, due to the circumstances that surround me at my early age and while I was in secondary school .

At my early age,my mum couldn't afford to send me to school due to my family background (single mom) . I do go to school one term in a section . During my days at home ,my mom do tutor me on how to count and subtract numbers. Since then I started developing interest in mathematics.

While in junior secondary school I represented my school at a national cowbell mathematics competition, when I was in SS1 I happens to be the best student in mathematics and further mathematics at the same time I was elected as the president of mathematics students association of ijaye Ojokoro senior high school.

These circumstances has arose my interest in studying more about this favourite subject at yake university through MasterCard scholarship only if am given the opportunity.

DISCRIBE A SITUATION WHERE YOU HAD TO OVERCOME A SIGNIFICANT OBSTACLES OR CHALLENGES TO REACH YOUR GOAL .HOW DO YOU REACT TO THIS CHALLENGES ,AND WHAT DID YOU LEARN FROM THE SITUATION

In December 2008 ,Lagos state ministry of education ,Nigeria release the result of qualifying exam into senior secondary school. I went to school to check my result I saw on the notice board was surprising, I score 46% .I was amazed I didn't believe the result. I went to my school principal to lodge complain.

Immediately my school principal send a letter to Lagos state ministry of education Nigeria,(because she had known me to be one of the best student) telling them my result is injustice, the ministry said there is notting they can do about it,which means I have to repeat JSS3. Since my aunty had no money of sending me to private school,I had to repeat JSS3.

At thesame time in January 9,2009, my mom died and everything was heard for me.then it is hard for me to read my books and I make up my mind not to read anymore.

But through the word of encouragement of my teachers ,I started adjusting. I could remember a word of advice given to me by my teacher that " the downfall of a man is not the end of the man" .

When I sat down for qualifying exam again I had 75%.
I have learnt that in every situation always give thanks,And that life is a race you either run and win or you crawl and get trample

I qoute "Do what is right never give up on it ,no matter how you try don't you ever fall keep your head up high and standing tall"

All of these essays seem like free write lists to the prompt. Try to structure it in paragraph form so they'll flow better.

ACTIVITIES THAT WAS MOST MEANINGFUL TO YOU
- introduce the fact that you're a tutor and what you do then expand what it means to you - how does it benefit you as a person? what do you get out of it?

WHAT DO YOU PLAN TO STUDY AT YAKE UNIVERSITY? WHAT CAREER ARE YOU PURSING AT THIS POINT AND WHY?
- introduce your background in math then connect that to the major at Yake and what career you'd pursue
