As a Technical Officer in Entomology at the National Agriculture Quarantine and Inspection Authority (NAQIA) with over seven years of experience, I have witnessed the devastating impact of invasive pests, soil degradation, and climate variability on PNG's agricultural sector. My studies will focus on biological pest control, precision agriculture, and soil microbiome health, aligning with MTDP III's goals of increasing agricultural productivity, promoting climate-smart agriculture, and strengthening biosecurity frameworks.
