Hello all,
Specific grants and scholarships are available for Native American students who wish to attend college. Many colleges and universities across the country also offer free tuition and campus housing for Native American students. Students must be a member of a federally recognized tribe to qualify. A Certificate of Indian Blood (CIB) document or card is accepted as proof of membership in their tribe. Exceptions to this are Canadian born Native American students who have at least one half Indian blood and are eligible for Title IV federal student aid.
