Also, spend some time writing essays, and post them each in a NEW THREAD. We can find your errors and correct them.
Here is some advice:
When you write an essay, start by writing the topic sentence for paragraph 2. (Google 'topic sentence' to learn about it.) Then, write a sentence to explain what you mean. Then give an example. Then, give another sentence about it, and maybe tell about why it is important.
When you follow that process, you will have a whole paragraph written. Then, come up with another idea for the topic sentence of paragraph 3. Repeat the process of explaining and giving examples.
After you have written enough body paragraphs, go back and write an introduction paragraph that introduces the main idea of the whole essay.

try to be confident , keep in mind that they are interested in you thats why they have called you for an interview in introduction mention your full name ,and the place you currently work , the title under which you are working and the time for which you have been working.
I generally follow this;
Who am I? My background information - name, age
Where I come from - neighborhood, family background etc.
What I do currently? Student or other - elaborate on this .... you can include your hobbies too
What I wish to do in future - talk about your future goals
Just be you. :] nothing beats a person's unique-ness, and if they don't accept you for who you are, then their the ones who doesn't deserve you.
yep.... you need to be yourself, but make sure you have your ideas organized better... So, give it some thought as to how you present yourself in front of an interviewing panel. Your prior knowledge about the people who are going to interview you would be an advantage. If you know their background, pay attention to highlight the facts about you that may impress them.
Yes, at an interview what matters the most is your confidence. When you are confident, you get a natural flow. However, preparing for the interview can take you an extra mile in impressing the interviewing panel.
Try to focus on your target,
be your self. There are no tricks and magic words. The most important is BE YOURSELF.

As for me, I think that it is better to prepare your personal statement before interview. When I was entering the university I wrote my personal statement and prepared my speech on basis of this paper.
I answered all the questions regarding 1) my biography 2) my purposes 3) why I have chosen this particular university and 4) the future I plan after finishing my studying.
Hope this points will help you to write your personal statement.
I have faced the same problem while applying to university. So many questions and so concussive. The only thing that saved me is prepared speech. Because I always forget all my biography in such moments lol)
