Advice on what to write supplemets for Pitzer and Stanford

Hi I am struggling with these two prompts.

1.
Founded in 1963, Pitzer College was built upon four core values that reimagine the purpose of a college education in a progressively changing world. These values are social responsibility, intercultural understanding, interdisciplinary learning and student autonomy. Almost 50 years later, our students feel that our founding values help prepare them to address the issues of their time. How do you feel these values will help you find solutions to the evolving challenges of your generation? (Maximum of 4000 characters)

I am not sure how to approach this...do you guys have any suggestions. How would you structure an essay like this...any ideas would be greatly appreciated.

2. 1. Stanford students are widely known to possess a sense of intellectual vitality. Tell us about an idea or an experience you have had that you find intellectually engaging. (Please respond to the following essay topics with up to 250 words or 1800 characters).

I have rough draft.
I wrote about my experience in biology class dissecting a cat...it opened my eyes and realized fragility of life..adding to my desire to become a doctor and help others prolong their lives..

I am really stuck. Please help me.Thank you very much !!!!!!!!!!

question 1: maybe talk about how with globalization intercultural understanding is important in order to be able to communicate effectively and other things along those lines. Interdisciplinary learning is important too because everything is interconnected and therefore you need a basic understanding of most disciplinaries..

question 2: i think that your idea about the dissection of a cat is good! post it if you want help!

The first prompt is asking you how helpful responsibility, the understanding of other cultures, well-rounded education and independence are and how they pertain to the "challenges of your generation". First, you need to think about what these "challenges" are. Then, you have to write about how the aforementioned "values" will aid you in facing them. Just talk about how important these values are to have in life and write about specific challenges that you may face and how these values can help you.

I don't know what else to say about that one. It is challenging question.

For the Stanford prompt, I think that the fragility of life is a solid topic. You should post your draft so that people can read it, though. And just so you know, the max word count is 250 words for each of the prompts, disregard the number of characters available.
