What contribution will you make to nursing?
Regardless of how one defines nursing, it is certain that nursing encompasses an infinite body of knowledge and requires a great deal of capability and skill. It is also a demanding profession that involves a high level of interaction and education. I am a team player and a powerful leader. I am determined, organized, confident, nurturing, and compassionate. I believe that nursing is a science as well as an art. It is a beautiful thing to see your knowledge and capability perform such a powerful role in a life as well as a workplace. I know that I will enhance the reputation of nursing because I feel so strongly about the profession; nurses can change lives -- I've seen it firsthand. While working with my patients I will be providing proficient, culturally mindful care in an expeditious manner. Throughout this interaction, as a nurse I will be conscious of factors that influence not only the well-being of my patients, but also the well-being of others and how my care plays a role in the 'big picture' surrounding my profession as a Practical Nurse. I know that I have what it takes to accomplish anything, nursing gives you such a self-worth feeling that would make me want to better myself every single day. The job opportunities for nursing are endless; I know that each and every day I will go home happy with my job knowing that I helped others. My primary educational goal is to increase my capability in a field I have had a love and desire for since I was a child. Going to Columbia Area Career Center will mold me into the nurse that I wish to be, and will allow me to pursue my contributions to nursing. I firmly believe that my eagerness to learn, help people, and personality along with my efficiency will benefit any of my future employers, and certainly make me a better person along with a remarkable nurse.
Please give me any input and corrections you can!
Thanks!
