Although you may not yet know what you want to major in, which department or program at MIT appeals to you and why? (*) (100 words or fewer)

"How", is engineering's key word to reach his or her ultimate goal to fully comprehend every detail of life's aspects. "Why", is the medicine's key word in understanding all that goes around and all that comes in. Finding a field that answers both of these questions and many more was challenging before being introduced to the innovative field of Biomedical Engineering. Many universities do not offer the established field as a major, but at MIT this field is not only offered as a major, but also focused upon as a profession that deals with the mechanics of the human body.

Your answer is a little off the track. You use the entire 100 words to describe "what" you want to major in, but you are not making a connection between YOU and your major. Why does Biomedical Engg. appeal to you? What is its significance in your life? How will MIT help you to thrive in this field? Try answering these questions. Reading the answer should say a little more about you and your interests.
