I'm not really sure how I'm supposed to write a personal statement, so I just winged it. I tried to write something that basically summed up me. Is this consider a personal statement? Any advice or notes?

I'm going to honest with you: I'm kind of boring. I don't jump off cliffs or ride motorcycles. One, because I lack the coordination. Two, um, the danger. The only things I plan of surfing are the channels, and even then I'm still avoiding every shark. My idea of fun is watching a marathon of the classics-"I Love Lucy" and "Tom and Jerry"- , and making bad puns. But, I'm me, which is something I can guarantee. And, that is what I have to offer. I'm different. I think different. I like being different. The way I go about things are well, different. I go through life following the essential kindergarten policies: clean up your own mess, actions speak louder than words, take a nap everyday, and you don't always have to color inside the lines. Like, a five year old I do everything from the heart. I do my own thing, but I always look out for the people around me. When you grow up you forgot those important things you learned when you were five. When someone falls, you help them back up. When someone is sad, you try to make them feel better. And, that life is supposed to be enjoyed. So, I am going to warn in advance, I'm going to be that person who is a little too peppy for 6 o'clock in the morning. Always carrying bandaids. Badly singing "Happy Birthday" every time it's someone in my dorm's birthday. And, that thud you here randomly in the stairwell because I just trip up the stairs. But, don't worry I'm Ok.
