I have always had a strong inclination toward UCF. This is partly due to the fact that I am interested in pursuing a career in medicine and UCF has the College of Medicine. I would be honored to be able to attend UCF and extend my education into the College of Medicine. It has been my dream ever since it was built in 2006. Also, I enjoy living in the sunshine state and would like to keep living in Florida. UCF is close to home so transporting myself to and from would not be much of a problem. I have also visited UCF in multiple occasions because I was a member of CROP and a current member of PREP. I even got the chance to live on campus for two weeks during the last summer break. I had the opportunity to tour the entire campus, live in the dorms, and meet many of the wonderful professors that are part of UCF. Current UCF students also talked to me about their experience at UCF and I could see myself as a Knight as well. If I had not completely made up my mind to apply to UCF, this is what made my final decision.
One of my greatest qualities is leadership. This is demonstrated since I am the President of the National Honor Society at my school. I have to be in charge of keeping the club up to the set standards. We have more than 200 members and I am in charge of all of them. If anything happens I am the one responsible for both the good and the bad. I am also committed as I have been a member of the National Honor Society for three years, four years in the Beta Club, three years in the Japanese Culture Club, three years in CROP, and four years in the International Baccalaureate program. I am balanced with my activities as well. I am part of many community service groups, I hold several leadership positions, I play varsity sports for my school, and keep my grades constant. I like to take challenges and I am always ready for anything that comes my way. For this reason I tool the hardest classes available at my school. I am in the International Baccalaureate program which demands the most out of a student.
