Here is my letter to my roommate (so far) I'm currently suck and need ideas on where I could go with this.
Dear future roommate,
Having acted in many plays, I have found that my best method of self-expression is through a well crafted, rehearsed live or video presentation, not through a letter. Even though I have grown up with an American lifestyle, I am also very culturally diversified. I'm a math and science guy; however, I equally enjoy performing arts. Over the last few years I been making videos for YouTube combining my Indian culture and my passion for acting. I enjoy getting my friends together to create videos and I especially enjoy working with people who have different ideas. Talking to friends who come from different cultures, opens many other concepts for me to explore. My videos include everything from comedy sketches juxtaposing two ideas to improvising a rant about current events. I try to find the humor in everyday situations; however, I can be serious when necessary. When working I need structure, order and clean surroundings; organization is very important to me. After completing any project I will scrutinize my work meticulously weeding out the imperfections then sharing it with my peers for further revision. I pay very close attention to the little things and even when I'm around friends I will often use sarcastic humor to express alternate interpretations. Going to college will be a new adventure away from home, I am eager as well as anxious because I feel as though my childhood is being ripped away from me. Being an only child, I am looking forward to having a roommate who would not only be a friend, but also be my sibling.
Warm regards,
