It would be a lie when not say every school is unique. And Underwood International College, an affiliate college of Yonsei University, is no exception. In my own perspective, I hold the strong belief that UIC's history makes that unmistakable difference. "Established in 2006?! Seriously, it's not old enough to have that kind of prominent annals" is what my best friend commented. However, new is always better. And UIC has unassailably proven that throughout its seven-year history. That is also the reason why I choose UIC to continue my journey to a new summit of knowledge.
As a senior in high school, I consider UIC as where I can challenge myself in a very different multicultural and multinational English educational environment which will give me a opportunity not only to interact with people from all winds at backgrounds over the world but also to gain what I really need for my future from the ocean of knowledge. Furthermore, I do believe that I will be provided the high-level education with lectures from the best scholars in the academic areas and have a chance to experience social activities and contribute my youth to college voluntary
During high school I've experienced variety of social activities from debating, orientating our high school's freshmen, helping disabled children etc... and tried my best so as to get my goals in both study and private life. Thanks to these activities, I realized I was interested in the relationship among people, international and global issues and the diversity in languages so International Studies (IS) would be a great choice for me. And as a potential IS student in UIC, I can affidavit that I will dedicate all my ability, youth energy to UIC's study tradition and reputation .
