Coming from a background of immigrant parents and the first son to attend university, I had very supportive parents who always pushed me when I needed it throughout my high school career, it all started in college where I started to be interested in computers and electronics, it is also this age, I started to learn to code and learn softwares design, in high school, I decided I want to make a career in the tech industry, after finishing high school I decided to join Prince George community college in the fall of 2020 in the midst of the pandemic and was not fortunate enough to have the experience of college in person since schools were online.

After exploring several schools and the program they offer , I decided that UMD computer science was my top choice. The fundamental reason I decided to join UMD was the school provide things that are acquired for my career plan and help me reach my dream which is to work in the tech industry. The school offer many research and internship opportunities. They host career fairs and have many corporate partners.

Outside the cs program UMD has amazing things to offer such as their diversity on campus, its proximity to DC all those things make it a dream school to attend.
