In my opinion, the freedom to dress or wear uniforms depends on the work environment.
In a creative environment, work productivity will be improved, creativity and flexibility will be stimulated by dressing freely. Actors, singers, and artists can be stood out, increased recognition in the public by clothes, making an impression on the audience, and enhance their reputation.
Conversely, some environments require uniforms. For example, a sense of cleanliness will created by lab coats of doctor, and the neutral color scheme helps patients not lean much towards any emotion. Police officers wearing uniforms make a sense of solemnity, and if you encounter them on the street and need help, you will look at their uniform for identification to ask for their assistance. Wearing uniforms also demonstrates unity and equality for everyone, regardless of wealth or poverty, high or low status, helping people treat each other fairly.
