TED Summary Lighting Up Indonesia's Future

"Indonesia Mengajar" is innovation program from the Minister of Education which is aim to developing our education in Indonesia. The backgrounds of this program because unequal distributions of the teachers in Indonesia and the quality of the teachers is low. From the facts, the best way is try to send the best young generation to become elementary schools teachers in most remote areas. In his standpoint, he argued that he choose elementary schools because almost 66% of elementary schools are understaffed. The presence of volunteers of "Indonesia Mengajar are not only for teach a lesson, Anis also want them to inspire and become role model. Not only for education purpose, but also young people Indonesian has opportunities to live the people with of this country. Their will live with hard conditions. Hopefully, that experience will useful when they become leaders in future. They will become world-class competency and grassroots understanding.
